what to expect
When should I book my newborn session?
I recommend booking during your second trimester whenever possible. This helps ensure availability around your due date. Once baby arrives, we'll finalize the session date based on their arrival.
What is the best age for newborn photos?
Newborn sessions are typically photographed within the first 5–21 days after birth when babies are naturally sleepier and more easily posed. However, beautiful newborn images can be captured at any age.
Do parents and siblings participate in the session?
Absolutely. Some of the most meaningful images are the ones that capture your family's connection and the love surrounding your newest little one. Parents and siblings are always encouraged to be part of the experience.
What should we wear for our newborn session?
Soft, neutral colors and simple, timeless clothing photograph beautifully. After booking, you'll receive styling guidance to help coordinate outfits for the entire family.
What if my baby is fussy during the session?
Newborn sessions are completely baby-led. There is plenty of time built in for feeding, cuddling, diaper changes, and comforting your little one. Patience and flexibility are always part of the experience.
When will I receive my gallery?
Your fully edited online gallery will be delivered within 2–3 weeks of your session. From there, you'll be able to download, share, and select your favorite images.
